Windows 98 was released on June 25, 1998. Windows 98 was design for people that don't know much about computer, it is very easy to use. With Windows 98, computer becomes a more common thing. People uses Windows 98 at home, work or even Internet cafe. It is design to work and play. One big advantage from using Windows 98 is that, even know that Windows 98 is a newer, and faster operating system, it does not require an high performance computer, it pretty much runs on every computer. Windows 98 is the last operating system that is base on the MS-DOS. I remember using Windows 98 when I was little, and it can handle almost every game that I want to play.
Windows Me, was an improvement based Windows 98. It was released September 14, 2000. Windows Me's main customer is still the at home PC users. One thing about Windows Me is that, it has an better Media software. It comes with Windows media play, windows movie maker. Makes it very easy for the user to make videos. Sadly, windows me has a short period of life. After it is released for a year, it is replaced my the newer operating system.
Windows 2000 was release 7 moths before Windows me, however the Windows 2000 professional is release after the Windows me. And it is design to replace Windows me, Windows 98, and older systems. One main difference that separate Windows 2000 from Windows me and Windows 98 is that, Windows me and 98's are meant for home users, where Windows 2000 are more for business. In windows 2000, everything is about mobilize, this is when USB comes into play.
