Windows Vista was released in 2006. It comes with four editions, the Home basic, Home Premium, Business, and finally the Ultimate. Windows Vista is a upgrade for Windows XP, however, many people choose to stick with Windows XP instead of upgrading it to Windows Vista. Because people think Windows Vista is not really a big upgrade from Windows XP. Here are some improvement from Windows XP to Vista. Vista has a very strong security system, it provides your computer against spy ware and other malware, it keeps your data secure and private, and it makes the user interface more vivid. Security is really a big thing for Vista, but often people forget about security for computer, from what I know some people uses there computer with out any anti virus system. So they won't notice any big difference between Vista and XP.

User interface for Windows Vista |
I used Vista for only a short period of time. However, I could notice the difference between XP and Vista. After I upgrade my computer to Windows Vista my computer crashes less often than the XP, also, games look more vivid in Vista; most important is that I get less Trojans and Viruses on Vista.
Have you ever wonder why does your windows XP gets very slow when the time pass, a lot of the time it is because your computer have receive Trojans or Viruses, and Vista are very good at blocking the Viruses, which makes Vista run faster and smoother than XP. One reason that people draw a conclusion of XP is faster than Vista is because people are installing Windows Vista on the hardware that was made for Windows XP. Windows Vista requires you have a better hardware, but overall it is an operating system that is worth using.
